How to Draw Hoods or Hoodies for Beginners
Step 1: Draw the outline of the face as a guideline for the hoody.
Step 2: Start your drawing with the opening of the hood, draw a long curved line forming an inverted teardrop with a pointed bottom. Draw this shape overlapped to the head.
Step 3: Erase the overlapped head, draw curved lines outside the last drawn shape, roughly keep it parallel but join both the ends with a pointed end.
Step 4: Draw a few curved lines in between both curves depicting cloths fold.
Step 5: Draw facial features like eyes, brows, nose, and mouth for the man wearing a hoody.
Step 6: Draw hair spikes falling on to the forehead and the back of the neck.
Step 7: Draw a zipper at the pointed end of the hoody draw a long shape with 2 lines and a small circle inside it.
Step 8: Draw shoulder on both sides of the hood, start with a simple line going down toward the bottom.
Step 9: Draw small curved lines on the neck and hood.
Step 10: Color hoody with red, inside hoody maroon, black for hairs, and skin color for the face.
How to draw a Hoods or Hoodie for Kids
Step 1: Draw a water drop, inverted, shape as a base to begin your drawing, draw in a manner that the upper part must be broad.
Step 2: Above the hoodie baseline draw another curve following the same shape. This is the opening of the hoodie which covers the face of the human.
Step 3: Start drawing a long horizontal curved line to draw a hand, and revert it back towards the shoulder.
Step 4: Draw another arm in the manner as we did in the last step, by doing this both arms are drawn.
Step 5: At the edge of the arms draw the rectangular shape for the border of the sleeves.
Step 6: Draw a line from the one arm towards the bottom den draw a horizontal line from it, again get it towards the other arm, it will depict the body of the hoodie.
Step 7: Draw the border of the hoodie in the same pattern for the sleeves, draw a few verticle lines in the border.
Step 8: Draw a pocket, using a pentagon shape, with curved lines as depicted below.
Step 9: Draw 2 random wavy lines from the bottom of hoodie's front neck which also a beginning, for the drawstring.
Step 10: Color your hoodie with your favorite color which you are willing to wear or own.
